A seminar with faculty from Hostos Community College and Bronx high schools unravels freshman expectations and preparation upon entering college. Seminar outcomes expose dissimilarities between freshman
course faculty expectations and the academic foundation students bring to college. This Graduate NYC!-funded initiative sheds light on the need for cross-institutional dialogue among faculty to empower student transition
from high school to college.
